🚀 Welcome to the New MUMSC Member Portal

Today marks one of the biggest milestones in MUMSC's history.

Over the last few years, our community has grown beyond anything we ever imagined. From just a handful of supporters, we've become the world's largest Muslim Manchester United supporters' community, with thousands of members across the UK and around the world.

With that growth has come new challenges.

We've reached the point where WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets and manual administration are no longer enough.

So after many months of planning and development, we're delighted to launch the new MUMSC Member Portal.

This will become the home of MUMSC going forward.

Why are we making this change?

Quite simply...

We've outgrown the old system.

The new portal allows us to:

• Provide a much better experience for members.

• Improve security and protect our community.

• Reduce manual administration.

• Manage memberships and renewals properly.

• Deliver future member benefits.

• Run ticket ballots fairly and transparently.

• Continue growing MUMSC for many years to come.

This is a huge investment in the future of our supporters' club.

Our new membership structure

We've introduced two membership options.

Community Membership (Free)

Perfect if you simply want to remain part of the MUMSC community.

Includes:

• Official MUMSC WhatsApp Community

• Global Chat

• Sisters Chat (where applicable)

• Community announcements

• News and updates

Full Membership (£10 per year)

For members who wish to support the continued running of MUMSC and unlock additional member features.

Includes everything in Community Membership plus:

• Ticket Community

• Member-only opportunities when available

• Future member benefits as introduced

• Future partner discounts

• Digital membership card (planned)

• Access to future member features as they are released

Your £10 annual membership helps us continue improving MUMSC and investing back into the community.

Does paying guarantee ticket access?

No.

This is an important point.

Your Full Membership supports MUMSC and unlocks additional member features.

Ticket-related features are always subject to availability and Manchester United's Official Supporters' Club rules.

Where MUMSC receives ticket allocations from Manchester United, members must also meet the relevant eligibility requirements before entering any ballot.

Paying for Full Membership does not guarantee tickets, a ballot place or future ticket allocations.

Why have you introduced a paid membership?

MUMSC has grown significantly over the last few years.

Running the community now involves:

• website and portal hosting

• payment processing

• software development

• security

• administration

• communications

• future member benefits

• community projects

Rather than relying on donations, we've introduced a simple annual membership to help us build a stronger, more sustainable supporters' club for everyone.

As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), any surplus is reinvested into MUMSC and its activities.

What about ticket ballots?

Nothing changes regarding eligibility.

To enter future MUMSC ticket ballots you will need:

✅ Active Full Membership

✅ A current verified Manchester United Official Membership

✅ Your Manchester United membership must appear in the latest eligibility list provided to MUMSC by Manchester United.

If you've recently renewed or joined Manchester United, don't worry if you aren't eligible immediately. Manchester United sends us updated membership lists periodically and eligibility updates automatically after each import.

Why am I not eligible for ticket ballots?

The most common reasons are:

• You haven't activated Full Membership.

• You haven't entered your Manchester United Official Membership number.

• Your Manchester United membership has expired.

• You've recently joined or renewed Manchester United and your details haven't yet appeared on the latest list supplied to us.

• Your Manchester United membership is awaiting review.

If you believe you should already be eligible, simply follow the instructions within the portal to submit your membership details and evidence for review.

What if I only want to stay in the WhatsApp Community?

That's absolutely fine.

Community Membership remains completely free.

You'll continue to have access to the main MUMSC community and announcements.

Why are we locking the existing WhatsApp Community?

To ensure everyone starts from the same point and to help us manage membership properly, the existing community will become read-only.

The current community will remain available for announcements and guidance during the transition, but all future membership will be managed through the new portal.

The Support Hub chat will remain open during the migration to help anyone who needs assistance.

Existing members

If you've previously registered with MUMSC, you don't need to start from scratch.

Simply choose Claim Existing Membership during registration and follow the instructions to activate your account.

Families

Parents can register children under 16 within their account.

Where children have an active Manchester United Official Membership, we'll help ensure their details are submitted and verified so they can be included in future ticket ballots where eligible.

This is only the beginning

The new portal gives us the foundations to build much more over the coming months and years.

Future plans include:

• Digital membership cards

• Member partner discounts

• Exclusive member opportunities

• Easier ticket ballots

• Improved communications

• Community initiatives

• And much more.
